Re: Honda CR-X
hi, after some time i have news. 3rd hood evolution is the best one. i used combination of epoxy putty and basic putty, which seems to be the best decision i had ever done on this kit. beside this, i finished seatbelts with seats. i think they are nice, dont they?
dashboard need to be painted and carbonized. blinkers are weird because they are not finished yet. well, hope you like it ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: Honda CR-X
Thank for positive comments, i appreciate it
![]() I finnaly come to primering. Tamiya's Basic putty is driving me crazy, because it's not filling as i want, so I ordered Tamiya white putty. Don't know what it is, but I hope that it will be something better I am not satisfied with the result of my work, but thats why we are priming first ![]() ![]() sorry for not quality photos |

Re: Honda CR-X
I use Tamiya Smooth Type Epoxy Putty, I think it works great!! Maybe check into that. From what I hear the quick type is pretty good too.

It's always great to see a well-built cage
Did you make that out of solder? |

Re: Honda CR-X
hello, winter break is over, therefore work on my little honda continues. i bought new compressor, together with new airbrush recently.one which i used before didnt matched my requirements. shame that i had to learn how to paint again. honestly, i still got problems: paint is spittin out and my hood is full of drops. whats the problem? anyway, ill try to polish it, maybe ill do the whole work again.
when i was reviewing this post, i found that the hood is not correct at all. SiR's mask is more narrow. why nobody didnt notice it doesnt matter. life goes on.. i also carbonized dashboard. i must admitt that it was real pain. but now, ive got great feeling of succesfuly finished work. and here is my humble honda: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() dashboard ![]() |
