Re: Is a nissan 350-z better that a 1997 z28 camaro?

hmm. actually, to answer your question more,

a civic's power to weight ratio is NOT more then a camaros..

as : a civic has (stock) ~150hp.. and a camaro has 300..

and im pretty sure teh civic isnt 2000 lbs!

Re: Is a nissan 350-z better that a 1997 z28 camaro?

Alright guys...let off a little.

He wants something different out of his car on a limited budget. Obviously learning as he goes along.
Please try to help, regardless of how redundant the questions get. Otherwise, try to refrain from posting.

Now...as for this question. The 350Z is a decent little car. My younger brother has one. Although I let him drive my Trans Am over to my parents house (capped to 515RWHP) and I drove his 350Z over. I had to clean up before going there, so he got there earlier. Anyways, I guess he came into my parents house shaking. Sold him on power.

On to the driving of the 350Z. Felt REALLY tight. Much better handling than my heavy Trans Am. But it wasn't nearly as fast as the stock version of my car. Nice car though. I would miss backseats though....as I can at least take my 6 month old daughter for a ride in the Trans Am.

i've driven both Camaros and 350Zs, they're very different cars.

yes, they're both 2-door coupés or convertibles, but they appeal to different markets and desires. you could compare them, but only in some perspectives.

However this kid does start threads and from what I have seen never post in them again. Something fishy is going on. lol

True, different cars for different tastes. 350s are easier to modify with simply aftermarket add ons as for the maros or birds you have to tweak the engine which is more expensive. and yeah, dont compare italian(ferraris) with japanese(hondas)

not true my man.. im pretty sure you will get more bang for your buck modding a maro/bird with the typical exhaust, intake, cat removal, turbo, etc..

its just that no one ever does that to a camaro cuz its cheaper (And better results) to just mod the engine, where as with a 350 if you want to mod the engine.. you pretty much have to spend a pretty penny to get it eithier really high comp + big turbo or real high revvin..

im not dissin the 350, i had fun racing it, and i know for a fact it can handle better then my (stock) heavy maro..

Re: Is a nissan 350-z better that a 1997 z28 camaro?

I'm confused...

what does a stock LT1 Slowmaro run in the 1/4?

13s or 14s?

Honesty, folks.

Sorry... If it helps, I was making reference to the thread itself being retarded, not the kid starting it...
