Some serious mods going on there Walter! Looks great!

Is this based on something you have seen or is it more of a fantasy project?

Aha! This isn't really a top secret project so much as a silent plea for help cause now that he's hacked up the car he has no idea how to salvage it. All the posts we are putting here are just ideas for him. Sneaky...very sneaky.....

I little bit of both. I'm pulling ideas off concept cars, a little of my own, and maybe a little from you guys. Like Jarrod Li said,".....a silent plea for help."

After posting the thread last night, I took the hood and rear fender arches apart to reshape them. There will be a lot of that going on with this project. The hood was redone so the curvature doesn't dip down so much. The rear fender arches are going to be re-cut so that they sit higher and then the flares added back on. The body will be completely widened with the flares as a guide.

Right now I'm considering the Ferrari v10 F2001 engine or the Porsche GT1 flat 6. Twin turbos are also in the mix of ideas, but I don't want to cover up the induction system with a large box. I'd like to put some polished aluminum velocity stacks that will be visible with a clear rear cowl. Well, as you now know its gonna be mid/ rear engine powered. <---SECRETS OUT!

well, this is an interesting proposition-evening out the weight balance of the supra by stuffing a new more powerful engine into the back and lopping off the roof in the process. I'll assume the rest of the body will remain mostly stock? maybe a small 70's style lip on the back? and how do you plan to get a new roof onto it? a convertible ferrari could be used as a donor for several pieces. VERY interesting stuff!

That is starting to look like most of my projects right in the middle of them, I love seeing models chopped up just to imagine the end result.
Good luck on this as I know it will be a PAIN to make all that custom work look flawless.
