That M3 hardtop really needs to lose the chrome strip around the windows...it doesn't match up with the black strip on the A pillar...

Badged as the Gemini everywhere else in the world, and yes Lotus did the suspension Tuning. They also did special editions of the Izuzu Trooper.
All part of the large share GM had in Lotus at the time.

I actually like the Lotus suspension tuned Isuzu I-Mark and later Stylus better...Lotus tuned suspension in a stealthy sedan body

Didn't they have the same engine architecture as the late model Lotus Elan as well?

I wouldn't do that to my china! Now I have to go all the way out to ultimate electronics to get my panda.
That wasn't me but I've seen the guy around before, I've actually seen two guys around campus with sweet Ferrari shirts. I'm going to get one soon though.

WTF???? I thought Impulse=Piazza

Y'know it's funny.....When I was 4 (1990) A guy in Mahina bay got a Piazza turbo and every time I went past it I though WHOA!!!! That car is awesome- especially since it was in A1 condition. I come back to Wellington this year and drive past the house again and what do I see- A rusting mouldy sack of shit that was once a Piazza :silly2:

Snowie- Question 2- What was teh PAnda place???

The Piazza was replaced by the Gemini, and so the name carried over in the US.
Despite the change from RWD to FWD the yanks still think they are the same car.

And yes Heep the M100 Elan (the FWD one) use's the 1600 DOHC Turbo engine from the hot version of the Gemini.
You can trace the ownership of Lotus by the out sourced parts fitted to them.
