As Freakray said this kit was modified by Steve of Hiroboy. Chris of Scale Auto Style made a transkit with seperate decals for the Tamiya Evo 6, but is now OOP

About HobbyLink Japan

I have been buying from HLJ since 1996, years before HLJ become a supporter of our magazine.
The average time to get a kit you ordered, if the kit is marked as stock, is 2 weeks, using the Japanese SAL postal service and 5 days using the well know EMS. The packaging of HLJ has proved to be the best around the world, I can assure this as I'm buying out my country since 25 years ago.
Probably you are wanting to buy a kit that HLJ have as backorder, then they could get for you or not, is your decision but when the kit is issued being from Japan always will be found in HLJ.
HLJ have 30 people working to satisfy their customers and probably you will be able to get a discontinued kit in a small retailer like R10 but just because they couldn't sell it at all.opcorn:

I also use to buy in HK and sometimes in ebay, discontinued or kits which I get cheaper, but to be frank the only seller which I never had a problem with during 25 years was, and still is HLJ.

If you think that I'm telling this because my relationship with HLJ, then you don't know me

Cheers
