Bad news for the bike - good news on you only getting bumped and not broken.

I assume you've been given codeine, because that's what they gave me.. and lot's of it. Don't take lots, only take as prescribed! Take a day off the Codeine every once and a while, trust me There are unpleasant consequences if you don't.

Is it just one break? I had a compound fracture, and it didn't heal quite right... I have a half inch lump my left shoulder/chest area. Yeah... my advice, do the physio therapy, you'll probably end up with sick tendonitis in your shoulder.

On the topic, a funny little story... When I had my collarbone broken in two places(2" of free floatin clavicle ), I found out that the guy who had wired my house was incompetent... turns out what was supposed to be a ground wire was hot with 220V current! You know how when you get electrocuted, all your muscles tense up, really tight? Yeah.

I'm damn lucky I'm made of stone! Otherwise I might bleed, or worse yet, cry...

wussy

nope, no codine for me just naproxen.its a anti-inflametory deal.

not sure how bad the break is, xray tech wasnt there. i go back wensday for xrays.

on the plus side im out of work for the next 4-5 weeks. its both good and bad. good cause i can just be lazy and heal in the comfort of my home playing ps2 and watching dvds. bad cause istill have to pay bills some how. hahaha.

oh well ill figure out something.

oh, one last thing my step dad might be going out to where i crashed to take pictures. i want to show off the tree thats like 2 inches to 3 inches in diameter. i think thats what my shoulder hit in mid air ... cause its broken about 2ft off the ground :hehehe:

They gave me naproxen at the hospital, but when I went to see my doctor, he told me not to take it. He said that it's a good thing for the surrounding area to get inflamed, and it helps the break set much more quickly... Talk to your doctor about this, my collarbone didn't quite heal right(probably because it broke in two places :/ ).

So what's happening with the gokart idea?

i pitched the idea to my mom who just stared back me.

i guess the idea of a 65 horsepower 600cc 6 spd go-kart just doesnt seem like a good idea...especially when the person whos trying to convince you has a broken shoulder haha.

ill probably salvage the bike.
