Re: Completed: 1/24 1970 Gulf Porsche

What did you use for the front window tint that is kind of red? Is that a light clear red coat?

Looks great!

Re: Completed: 1/24 1970 Gulf Porsche

I envied your work already in the WIP, which I watched closely. So the only words left are to congratulate you on your work. Great job and you are right: The doors look just fine and I admire your craftsmanship on this difficult modification.

thanks again to everyone, Enzo, no the front window is just clear - I think it must be the lighting that is making it look red to you.

Re: Completed: 1/24 1970 Gulf Porsche

...just quick one,

I have redesigned my site and there are more pics of the Porsche over there along with more pics of my other builds, it is easier for me to update the site now so from now on it will be updated more often.

cheers everyone!

Re: Completed: 1/24 1970 Gulf Porsche

I missed this earlier,I don't know how.Very nice work on this model it really does look excellent. The opening of the doors and the excellent engine work add a lot to the finished model.I'm keeping a watch on your Celica project now,I don't know where you find the energy.

Re: Completed: 1/24 1970 Gulf Porsche

I also just realized you finished this one. Congrats!
Never mind the doors....leave them open and try again on the next build:-)
Some parts on some models just don't wanna be built it seems :-)

Re: Completed: 1/24 1970 Gulf Porsche

Looks superb, the detail work is excellent, shame about the doors I can imagine how frustrating that was. But when opened up they look great and allow all of your detail work inside to be clearly seen.

Superb! You have amazing patience and skill to do all those alterations. Taking on the opening doors was especially brave, but the results are amazing.
