I drove 341 miles on 8.5 gallons of gas. That equals 40mpg. I dont know how I get that good of mileage but i do...maybe because my car is light, crazy considering my setup:
ZC
ZC trans
CAI/H/E
89 Teg ecu.

25-29 running 91 octane - depending on how hard I drive. Its hard not to rev past 5500.

Before I had the HF engine and easily got 40 MPG.

Oh yeah, every site that lists CRX specs shows the HF with a 10.6 gal. fuel tank, but mine tops off at 7.5. What do you other guys top off at?

On the freeway (800km+ trips) I get about 7.3 liters/100km.

Around town and on the VTEC I get 10-12 liters/100km - ouch with a 40 liter tank

damn guys, i usually get like 37-40 mpg. but that is with an all stock dx with like 90k miles on it, so i guess that helps. i usually get around 400 miles to the tank and i fill it up with 10 gallons.

Yes, you'll need to get new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and 02 sensor....cleaning your injectors is good too.

Dammit...you are gonna make us do the math aren't you??
let's see - 100km = ~62miles....
1 litre = ~33.8 oz =~ .264 gallons

7.3 liters = ~1.92 gallons / 62 miles = 32.291 MPG - not too bad
12 liters = ~3.17 gallons / 62 miles = 19.56 MPG -

My advice = stay off the VTEC :silly2:

Changing the cap and rotor is as easy as taking your rims off.
Mark and pull off all the spark plug wires...get a 8mm? socket and take off the 3 or 4 silver bolts that hold on the cap....get a philips screwdriver and take off the single bolt that holds the rotor.....replace rotor..make sure you screw it on tight!....assembly is opp. of removal.
