if it is, keep the engine. those B24 engines can make insane power for little 2-litre blocks. my friend had one in his old V40 and it made 655bhp (at the wheels) on full boost.

its the 760 turbo, yeah i think its the 2.0 it got the intercooler and everything.. and yeah, that thing is pretty crazy, it still runs smooth.

if they're going to be scrapped, keep the engines. either keep them to work on, or sell them for salvage. might even be worth breaking them for parts.

volvo turbos are awesome. with a little tuning they make real good sleepers too.

Almost (ALMOST) bought a 51 Mecury 4 door (suicide rears) and a 1971 500ci Caddy engine to move it with. Then I bought Red Death and have since spent MORE money than if I had tried to buy a controlling interest in GM. Pretty pathetic. But seriously, you probably could have your maro in A1 condition for what you'd buy a neon for, unless you're gonna get one of Dylan's $50 type deals. (I'd love to know how he does it by the way.)

I actually caught wind of a 91 RS in premo condition, bodywise, needing a driveline, for "make an offer". Just so happened to be while staring at the remains of the Z28 that just so happens to bear a running motor that hasn't been yanked yet.

Still waiting on the pictures from the weekend, got the Z and GTA side by side.
