it is not a badged G35, I saw a black one on TX, and a silver one on a NISSAN dealership also in TX.. how it got there? dont know..

well i was gonna go to NHTSA and check out if they were leagle imports, but that page is down for some reason. neway, doubt it is a real nissan skyline. it would seem stupid to bring that in for much more than it costs to go to an infiniti dealer and buy a g35, and kit it

Spending that much money is no more stupid than badging a G35 to be a poser. I know you all think it's just badged but I REALLY doubt it. I was driving down the freeway so I couldn't get a pic of the front of it, but it was COMPLETELY different. Not just a body kit, either...the whole front end was different.

importing thte skyline from japan wouldnt b as much as trying to import the r34, the skyline v35 and g35 are pretty much the same car, emissions are the only things that have to b changed.
however i did come across something of interest...if either canada or mexico the the nissan skyline, then someone can fly there, but the car, slap on the g35 badge, then when they get back to the USA put the skyline badge back on it.
i was also thinking, maybe nissan is bringing them over badged as a skyline instead of a g35 to make more wonder as to wat a skyline is, u know publicity, for maybe better sales on thte gtr in 08(cant fricken wait)

I'd been hearing talk of the G35 = Skyline in america for quite some time now. Been that way in Japan for a long time, I think. I dunno what they're doing, though.

the g35 is a skyline in japan, it equal to the v35 or something like that. that's y i dont get y the nissan gtr is going to b called the r35, but not b based on nething else in the nissan "stable".
neway i doubt that all of a sudden nissan agreed to bring the skyline in, and i doubt that people were all like," i want something fancy and different, i'll get a nissan skyline, yea that's it, something only half this country has heard of"

o and as for these car's looking different, well here's a possibility, does anyone know what the g37 looks like?
