Re: 15 Thousand Dollars and New Car Reccomendations?

With those priorities, try looking at a slightly older WRX.
They are reliable, decently quick and not terribly ugly...if you see an Evo for around 15K, I'd look into that first though.

Re: 15 Thousand Dollars and New Car Reccomendations?

u can use 10g as a dp on a saturn sky redline or something like that, they get like 28mpg. srt4 are good cars, not the beest, but still quicker than any other car in its class(stock). a vr4 or r/t tt. trans am or camaro z28/ss. if high milage isnt a problem, there's one 10mile from me for 4,900 with 149k on it(z28)
if u want asian maybe a civic si(i hate em but they r quick) a wrx or miata.
euro, u can pick up a mid 80's 911 for 15g. i love porsche so nething from the 80's with exception for the 959 or slantnose 911.
or better yet, a pontiac fiero, and bodykit it to look like a ferrari 355, same with an mr2

Re: 15 Thousand Dollars and New Car Reccomendations?

I'd still suggest the Trans-Am, or possibly a Supra. Just cause those are two of my favorite cars. If you decide to go with a Trans-Am or a Camaro, IMO you should get the Trans Am just I think they're better lookin, and they got the same engine anyway so I'd take the better lookin one. If you're worried about reliability tho, you could go with the camaro just cuz I think it would be easier to find someone who knows how to work with chevy

like you said bro, they're prettymuch the same car exept looks. pontiac = chevy = GM.

thats kinda like sayin a stealth is more reliable/eisier to work on than a 3k.

if you are goin that road though...ram air trans am w/t-tops ftw...

Re: 15 Thousand Dollars and New Car Reccomendations?

camaro's are rarer from 93-02 than the firebird. a mustang isnt a bad choice either, other than u'd have to get a v8, they were the only one's with power.
an rx7 is easy to find for 12-15g.
u can get a lot of cars with 15g. u just gotta know what u want, if gas milage is wat u want, than nothing mentioned by any of us will do that for u.
and dont go thinking that american cars arent reliable. all cars are, just need to take care of them the same u would ne other car. ex: my dad's coworker just put her first clutch in her camaro at 327k, tho she's never driven nething but m/t so she's good with it.
