Re: WIP: Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe

The heads are on nice and securely. It probably was a slightly warped part. And no, this engine came with the kit. And according to a site I use for reference shots, this is how the engine looks. You gotta remember, this is the new Viper Coupe, not the old one. Bonnet hinges at the back.

Re: WIP: Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe

lovely paintjob!, good colours and great masking job too!

Can i give you some dummy advice (as always from me ). A gentle blackwash will do the engine justice, on the metallic parts. Just two cents to make it really stand out!

Oli - Now Go!

Re: WIP: Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe

Well, I'm gonna take this kit up again because I'm back from my 4th of July break, and still nobody has completed this kit. Hopefully there will be some progress soon!

Oli: Thank you for the advice. I'm going for a very showroom stock look here, so the shinier the better. In addition, I'm always hesitant about ruining my kit while learning a new technique. I'm gonna try a brownish wash on the tan leather seats I'll be doing for my MX-5 (also will be updated soon)
