Re: cobalt ss supercharge vs. impala Ls

i dont take my car to dealerships, if i have a problem i cant fix, i take it to my family mechanic. Only old people and stupid people take there cars to dealerships to have those lame brains try to figure out whats wrong and over charge you. Seriously do you actually think dealerships are a good place to take your car to get fixed?

When i had my cavalier Z24, i had the dealership put the supercharger on to save my warranty, was supposed to be a 4 hour job, turned into a 6 hour job because the stupid mechanic couldnt read the instructions properly. Then he installed it wrong, he had my lines that were supposed to be reading boost connected to some other vaccum line that didnt even see boost. He said he had to extend the throttle cable that the stock one didnt fit, yeah well not shit it didnt fit, the fucker put the cruise control module in backwards. How fucking hard is it to follow directions? Yeah then before i found the mistake the stupid mechanic made, i was having all kinds of issues with the car, i take it into the dealership. They say its a dirty throttle body plate and cost 150 dollars to clean. So i went home and read the directions for the install, and realised the stupid mechanic couldnt read them properly. I fixed the wrong vacuum/boost lines and all my problems went away.

yes im on cobaltss.net, no 95% of the people on there are retarded. But there are retards everywhere, im talking to one right now. Im done with this thread and you. Its pointless to argue. . .

Re: cobalt ss supercharge vs. impala Ls

So you trust your family mechanic to fix things when hes not at all formaly trained in the GM systems and will mess things up? You think only old people goto dealerships? Thats funny because everyday I See young people and very smart people goto dealers to get their cars fixed right. I've seen a lot of cars towed in because Jim Bobs Auto Repair messed up.

You realize also that many things your local auto shop can't do that only dealerships can right? Like updating your PCM's and unlocking radios and stuff.

You also obviously don't realize an aftermarket kit like the one your talking about (yes the GMPP kit) don't come with ANY directions. All they come with are the parts and the rest is left to figure out. Theres also not many instrutctions on how to fix cars. The Tech. must diagnose the problem first, then goto Service Information and try and find the fix from there, and if they actually find the fix there it still only tells the Tech. a few things on what to do. Sorry you get the misconseption that being a Trained Technican is easy, because its far from.

And how exactly can you figure I'm a retard? You have no evidence, you simply go off pre conviced notions that all Techs. Are idiots, yet when it comes down to it, their very smart.

And so you know, my tranny is wonderful, and my car is fast, and I Can go through just about any weather. OR does that make me a retard for buying a proven performer over an Economy Car thats going by the wayside after 2009.

Its funny, all Cobalt SS owners are the same, pathetic jackasses.

Re: cobalt ss supercharge vs. impala Ls

hey easy fellas it depends on who works there you could have an average joe car shop and have one of the smartest techs in the world working there and have some overrated techs at dealerships. yes and hinshawwrx no offense but some dealers are overrated bc they do hire retards sometimes and thats what makes the difference. but please go on if you will bc im a tech myself and think what jayson thinks bc i dont work at a dealership lol and know that there some retards that dealerships hire and i wouldnt want him working on my car and overcharging me either and thats all i gotta interject lol. Some of the retarded jackass owners mess up by taking their car to the wrong dealership like take a mazda to a chevy dealership wtf. but neways... opcorn:

p.s. my opinion of this with a sc cobalt and impala stock 3.8 ss the cobalt walks off the line and walks off to the finish without a worry bc you gotta car lighter than a stock gsr with a better motor and gotta big 3400 pound car that can squeal the tires but cant keep up with thelight fast 4 banger sc ss` but if its a ss sc impala the cobalt wins by weight difference the end theres my
