not yet...as of latest news they are still taking bids to see who gets to buy it. Looks like it will most likely be Magna, a canadian company.

as for affordable 2dr rwd....the challenger has been slated for production probably for 2009 IIRC.

I hate bringing up old posts but this is damn good, so I gotta continue this forum story,

So yesterday 4th of July we had this little car show by Steak and Shake, and that really cocky kid with the daddy's cobra came back, but i guess now his dad bought him a gold 03 trans am ws6 for his 19 birthday, kids talkin mad shit like oh you know i got this new car im running straight pipes blah blah blah. I was like thats cool, he's like yea wheres your guy with the stealth TT at i was like oh he's at his family bbq, kids like i wanna rerun him but now with my own car ill smoke that POS emabarassment of an american car,

I got my buddy to come race him for the same $200 race as before, but this time we gave the gave the kid the hit/move because he's rear wheel, anyways my buddy scott beat him by 5-6 car lengths, it was awesome the kid was like oh yeah wait till I'm done building the car ill smoke you then, im like sure dude when my dads done building me a 9 second 3000GT, ill def. race you too. He's like yeah whatever talk your shit damn ricers and left ha.......

I dont know who taught him bout cars, but he was going on and on about the straight pipes being loud, and how hard it pulls now, he was guessin the 30-40 hp range, i was like man the day a 400 custom exhaust puts on 40 hp, sign me up

I dont know his dad own's his own "America's Used Car Lot", like thats what the place is called, you will never see a euro or jap car there, its crazy they only sell American cars, they might take in 1 or 2 imports, but from what i hear they dont offer much for them, yeah the kid thinks muscle cars are a gift from god, and is always ranting about how turbos are an excuse to make ricers quick. Too bad he doesn't understand the concept of forced induction "uh daddys cobra has a supercharger... turbo, forced induction duh!

I think this kid is actually mistaking what a ricer is. He thinks of it I think as a Japanese car when in fact a ricer is NOT ONLY someone who puts ricey things on their car but also has that attitude that I can whip the shit out of anything that comes my way, which is exactly how he acts. I would say he is a ricer that hasn't come out of the closet yet and protects his insecurities by trying to polk fun at others who aren't even in fact ricers in order to make himself feel better and more secure inside. But thats just my analysis.

fuckin hilarious. Ive defenitely seen some riced out 5.0 mustangs and old f-150s too its not just jap cars. Correct me if im wrong but arent the cobra and the vr4 about the same in the 1/4 and 0-60 and if so that kid must just suck at racing lol
