Actually, Woman's Scorn was pretty weak compared to some that I've tried.

I used to sell hot sauce. Over in New Orleans Square... I think I tried every thing we carried...

Haven’t tried that one. We’ve got a lot of hot sauces at home but I have to be careful not to use too much as Moon doesn’t like things anywhere near as hot as I do.

I call it catsup, wich is the propper spelling for it. It's just one of those words that's been bastardized by it's phoenetic pronunciation, so it's come to be known coloquially as "ketchup".

According to my trusty Oxford Dictionary, catsup is the US spelling. Ketchup is the English (ie UK) spelling and refers to a spicy sauce made from tomatoes, mushrooms and vinegar etc which is used as a condiment.

The origins of the word are unclear but it's suggested that it comes from Cantonese (the dialect of Chinese from Southern China) - k e chap which means tomato juice...

We in NZ have the quintessential kiwi tradition of Watties Tomato Sauce (which is actually part of Heinz). We also have HP Sauce, Tabasco (including the milder Garlic Chili as well as the regular and green), the local Kaitaia Fire and Lea & Perrins Worchestershire Sauce (which I have on fried or poached eggs).

And as some of you already know my favourite burgers involve tabasco and of course sliced beetroot.

and ci5ic have you tried Dave's Insanity Sauce?? That stuff is the hottest sauce I've ever tasted.
then you'd want to shoot yourself after trying Dave's Ultimate Insanity sauce. My teacher brought some to school as an object lesson type thing. I literally cried, and I barely even got some in my mouth. It even burns your skin

I've got a quite a few of his sauces, but not that one. I've got the Total Insanity as well as the Insanity one.

Heinz ownz j00. :finger: :flash:

Growing up in Pittsburgh, PA (home of Heinz KETCHUP which is about the ONLY thing pronounced properly in southwestern PA) you can't even eat another kind. I was stuck with Hunt's Ketchup when I went out to Indiana this summer, and it was revolting! :apuke:

As for the Burger King tacos: My roommate says they're really good, too. I've yet to try them. I'm not real big on fast food.

Actually Tangie, lots of folk and company are owned... not just us...

Altria which effectively was the Marlboro Tobacco Company owned Kraft Foods and Suchard (which includes Tolberone) - although some of this was being spun off the last time I looked

Proctor & Gamble owns Oil of Olay, Clairol, Cover Girl, Eukanuba Dog Food, Ivory, Max Factor, Old Spice, Pantene, Vicks and Pringle Chips.

Danone is a French company that owns Evian, Dannon Milk, Sparkletts and Stonyfield Farm.

Nestle is a swiss company that obviously owns Nescafe but also Friskies Dog Food, Stouffers, Lean Cuisine, Tollhouse Cookies, Wonka Confectionary, Butterfinger and Bart and Carnation Milk.

Campbell Soups owns the Arnotts Biscuit Brand in Australia

Gillette, Duracell and Oral B are part of the same company. Listerine and Schick are part of another company.

I won't even tell you what Sara Lee, Mars and Johnson & Johnson sell under their brands - you would be surprised eg Sara Lee does shoe polish, pantyhose, hosiery (socks) and underwear as well as ice cream and frozen baked goods.

And the Fox Network, 20th Century Fox and The Simpsons are owned by News Corporation - who's chairman is Rupert Murdoch, an Australian.

Scary you bet...

And I until next week work for a US Company which is owned by Dutch Company.
