Thanks for the advice ZoomZoom... As far as painting goes, i am using Testors regular paint with brushes, and things are coming out good... is there something better i could be doing? b/c some of the larger stuff requires multiple coats to come out evenly.

And I have moved on to plastics... I finished my Maisto Audi TT last night, and left that pretty much stock. I just went and did some detailing work, like painting the seat belt buckles, seat recliner, gauge cluster trim, oil cap, strut bar, and things like that silver to give it more of a classy look. I also went with silver grilles and a black emblem instead of black grilles and a Chrome emblem like they normally come. The only other thing that i am going to do is to lower it. But i am going to do it differently than most. I have a butane soldering iron with a torch tip. I am going to take a spring and put it into a pair of vice grips, tension the spring some, and torch it to heat it, thus causing it to shrink.

The current model I started on last night was the Tamiya Toyota SARD Supra GT. This one will take me a while. I worked on it 3 hours last night, and got the front rotors & calipers painted, the tranny painted, and the crossmembers & control arms painted. I am currently painting the suspension.

My main problem that i am having is, that for some reason, either the paint is clogging up, or bristles of my brushes are coming off... The black paint seems to congele (SP) onto the brushes rather quickly. I dont thin out my paint... should i? it seems to not go on evenly at all if i thin out my paint the slightest bit.

I'm no hater, I just say that there is also a die cast forum.....This kit is diecast, pointing out Scrapin should put it there aswell, he would get alot of fun in that forum because he is into die cast models.

If its more collectors then modelling then you would get even more praise because you haev modified a die cast, not just kept it like all the others! I didn't mean any hate at all...
