Auto Transmission Lower engine to transaxle bolt

Is the bolt just too short, or will it just simply not thread onto the tranny threads?

Thanks! It might be too short. That is why my original post was asking for the bolt dimensions.

Hold the bolt on the outside of the housings and see how far its actually going...

If the bushing was missing altogether then the bolt would slide right in with no problem at all then... Could have another bolt half broke off in there. Did you look to see if the hole was open clear through? maybe run a die through it and clean up the threads.

Body kit nothing more than for appearance sake. Quicker sale if it comes to that.

If you ask me, a bodykit on a 1g decreases the appearance. It's just not a car that needs a bodykit, it messes with the stock bodylines and makes everything look "cheap". But that's just my honest opinion.

For your tranny problem, do like Brian said and hold the bolt up to the engine/tranny and see if it looks like it's too short or not, or there may be a bolt broke off inside prohibiting it from threading in any farther.
