My sister in law was like that with my older nephew. Wouldn't even let my brother take him for an afternoon. She's gotten a little better now that they have twins as well.
Gold, drysuits are for wimps. I did my outdives in a wetsuit and the water was 35 degrees, air temp was around 65 degrees.

MINIVAN!  I got one... everyone laughs until their kid has to take a dump... Minivan is one of the few things you can keep a baby-shitter in and not have it get in the way. And not to mention all the other JUNK you have to carry around on a regular basis because you can't deal without it.

As much as I hate to say it, dodge started the process with the turbo caravan. Damn thing is fast and if you miss the sticker on the fender you'll get your ass handed to you before you know what is going on.
