Hi Micha
Thanks for the link - the transkit looks cool & they have some nice stuff but min order is 20 euros plus 20 euros postage & no credit card facitlies so I'll have to give it a miss -I was planning on just building it kerbside anyway but I do like the look of that engine tho.
Cheers
Andy

Re: 2006 Mustang

I must have displeased the modelling gods (that's my excuse anyway !) - when I removed the Tamiya masking tape from the roof after spraying the window surrounds it lifted off one of the roof stripes - I guess I polished the clear down too thin in that area as the other stripe was ok. Luckily I'd still got a spare so that was applied and the roof cleared again - nothing too disasterous but annoying all the same.
On a positive note here's where I am currently after adding the front grille & lights etc - I've also continued the stripes over the rear spoiler as IMO it looks odd without them.

Thanks for looking
Andy

Andy, the paint looks great. Are you going to paint the edge of the headlight glass to prevent the plastic edge showing?

I must admit it was something I hadn't noticed but now you mention it I think you've hit the nail on the head - thanks for the suggestion - I'll give it a go assuming I can pop the lenses out without damaging them.
Cheers
Andy

Re: 2006 Mustang

That front end looks much better. Really like the paint combination.

What are you planning on doing for the interior?
