I have a 2001 ford explorer sport trav and i have been trying to see where the keyless entry code is located. All of these post say sport. Im not sure if the laction is for a sprots trac?

I did not receive a manual with my 2000 explorer. 2 dr. 4.0 sohc. Can you guys help me locate my key pad code?

Took me about 30 seconds from the time I took off the jack area cover of my 97 explorer till i was successfully unlocking the door with my "recovered" code!!!

I have a 98 explorer eddie bauer edition and i would like to know where my code is for the keyless entry.

Have you checked the areas identified in the links in posts 1 and 2 of this thread? It should be the same location as for the '96-2001 Explorers.

2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac...Key code is under passenger side defrost/fog vent cover, on top of the module. 5 bold numbers on left hand side. Its very easy to see with a flashlight.
