Well a little variation is not going to murder this forum. People are responding to the threads, racing or not. If they also didnt approve of them, they would say so or not respond at all.
The Fast and Furious thing actually spawned from some of the racing threads mentioning F&F so there's a little justification there.

Some of the threads may belong in other places but it's not going to kill anyone if somebody puts one in that doesn't strictly pertain to an actual physical race. Without the varying threads, this forum would be a lot smaller.

I understand your point of view and know exactly what you're trying to do and your intentions are the all for the best. But do you see all the people getting upset over what you're doing here? If they really wanted it the way you do, they'd condone your actions, not revolt against them.

anyways. a poll would have been nice and fair warning would have also been nice. and the bit about restoring greatness didnt mean jack to anyone..
there are quite a few people here all post post frequently, so closing everyones posts who post here on a daily basis is dick.
if the post is incontrol and having something to do with the racing aspect of honda/acura's why bother shutting them down?

Lets state facts for a second:

1. I am the moderator of this forum.
2. I am allowed to moderate this forum how I see fit.
3. You have every right to complain because it isn't how you want it.
4. Your complaints are not going to change my mind.

The fact that I have even given you audience to complain should say something. I COULD just close down threads and not say a thing, but I have decided to give a heads up. The other topics can just as easily be posted in Off-Topic so I don't understand why you don't just get over it and post those subjects there. The only reason this post is even open still is because I am letting you vent your opinion.
