'96 5sfe - sudden increase from 28mpg to 39mpg?!?!

My answer to "sudden increase from 28mpg to 39mpg" was not a joke. My neighbor was a good friend. I had told him that I was getting very good milage with my Camry. He later told me that he had seen an old movie in which someone had done the same thing.

Didn't consider it a joke at all. It's unusual for someone to put gas in someone's tank behind their back. I normally read about people stealing gas, not giving it away. Just wondered why. Therefore, if he is so generous, I'll move in next door.
