Re: Fujimi E21 BMW Alpina

Recently, i dont have much time, but today i have dry-fitted the chassis and body to see if i like it, but, instead, another question came into my head: what tipe of rims should i use?

Re: Fujimi E21 BMW Alpina

Regarding rims: I think you should use the spoked wheels without the disks, as shown on the front. You did a great job painting the disks, but an e21 needs deep-dished wheels. Those look very much like Alpina wheels.

Re: Fujimi E21 BMW Alpina

Dash is pleasingly accurate for an early e21. Center of the steering wheel should be black though

Re: Fujimi E21 BMW Alpina

The red looks good and old school, but im not sure how much i like it. By the way, the spoked wheels look better to me. Very nice progress so far...

Re: Fujimi E21 BMW Alpina

Definitely go for the Alpina rims w/o disks!!!
I like the red stripes on the seats - but the rear seatbelts are WAY too wide.

Keep it on!

Re: Fujimi E21 BMW Alpina

New fresh progress! The back of the car is almost ready, the bmw logo misses, i will put it later. I also found some decals that simulate the blue stripe on the windshield to protect from the sun.

Hello all! New progress here! I have repaired some damages that the model sufered, and primed it. Also, i've painted the wheels gold to see how they fit the car, i think they look gorgeous!
