Re: GMC Jimmy Brake Lines

The lines are purchased by diameter and length and must be sectioned in if the exact or near exact length cannot be matched.

Do you know where I can find a layout and description of the brake line system to purchase a brake line?
If the brake line is bad take it off and go to the parts place and see if they can match the line up.
Just take one line off at a time so you do not get them crossed up.
After you get it back on you may need to find some one with a brake bleeder and a abs capable scan to to do a complete abs brake bleed on the system.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Re: Brakes gone wild!

I have just finished installing a new power booster (what an ordeal). The master cylinder is back on and in place. My new problem is, the 2 hydraulic lines the lead from the master cylinder out, will not line up. I am about .5 inch short. Is there a flex hydraulic line to lead from that? Im stuck!

You do not have something quite right there.
What happened to fixing the brake line leak?
