if u put only a muffler on, u aren't going to get 5hp. u'll be lucky to get any gains (not 5, thas for sure). the power comes from the piping an then a non-restrictive muffler only helps at the end of the system. TO THE WHEELS, a full cat-system will get u around 2-4hp.
