Re: The Lucerne is no Buick

pcmos..thanks for your comments. While we seem to agree on certain points, we will leave it to disagree on others. All I can say, is on the occasion I drive my wife's 2000 LeSabre, I think to myself, what a nice car. No rattles, extremely quiet, nice cushy ride, heads up display, etc. etc. and more etc's.

The Lucerne....ugh. It now has a rattle in the transmission. *^&%$*$*%%

Re: The Lucerne is no Buick

Update.... on this piece of .......work. Now the remote mirrors do not work.
Just before the warranty is up, this sucker is being traded for a decent car.
Definitely nothing from GM.

EDIT: UPdate
Sorry if this seems to be my own personal blog, but perhaps it will help someone.

Remote mirror module fixed. As for the noise in the transmission, the dealer hears it, saying it is annoying as hell, but refuses to fix it because "there are no service bulletins on the problem". "Bring it back when it gets worse". Which really means to me, we need to wait until the warranty expires.

Re: The Lucerne is no Buick

Not sure what you are all talking about, but I drive a 97 Buick Lesabre and I've driven a dozen Lucerne's and all I can say is wow. Very nice cars, fine tuned suspension even on the rough roads. Every car manufacturer has a bad apple out of the bunch---that's what warranty is for.
