it wasnt that expensive, i love my alarm, i have a tripple antenna range thingie with it also. i have a antenna on the BRAIN itself, and one ounted on the front windshield, an on e mounted on the back, you can't really see them cause it pretty much blends in... Well, it only costed me 350 INSTALLED cause my friend has the HOOKUP! His brother works at a car audio place..... Tha Viper 800 ESP (top of the line) usually costs like 450-500 for the alarm alone, no actuators, and no instalation...... So, i was happy

i have to say this was prolly the best thing that i payed for. its so much easier to not have to worry to lock both your doors and arm the alarm....when they can do it all at once... it is very nice. that is y i get the door handles....cause i havent used the key holes since i got installed like year and half ago. except... now i have to get them painted....

Yeah, I had my manual door locks hooked up to the alarm button too and it locks when engine's started and vice versa. I found out though that when you have the car running and somebody needs to get out of the car, they have to manually unlock the doors...so for additional $50, local guy hooked me up a lock and unlock button just right of the illumination knob where the power mirror control's suppose to be. Cost, $250 for the alarm (installed) $75 for the power door-lock motors (pair), $50 for lock/unlock switch.

actually what would be really cool, is i dunno if the si's do this but on the lx's power windows, if you hit the drivers window once it will auto roll down. I think it would be off the hook if I could get some more of those switches and put em in, then I could roll all the windows down at once.

I dunno if that would work Melt...if you get a few of those switches, they will go all the way down in one actuation but someone has to manually switch em still...What you can do is maybe hook up the other 3 window switches to your driver side main, so you can control all for in one. Or just get an extra switch that you can put somewhere in your car that can control all four windows at the same time.

actually, you could probably turn the lock after ignition feature off on your alarm. a lot of times that is a feature that is programmed in after installation.

Well, my door lock actuators let me unlock them like i normally did by flipping the door lock on the door and BOTH doors unlock, so its kinda the same as having a switch, but not.

actually, jer intended on waking up and hooking it up before everyone left. but we were all on a breakfast kick by the time he got up...
