Re: My New Car *PICS*

neons aren't fun in the snow. and you'll get your snow soon.

as for the A4, i have the option of spending $450CDN on computer work, including upping the boost, so i may do that. i would like to install a FMIC cause the SMIC is quite small and i'd like to free up some of the power this engine has.

let me tell you, this car is amazing to drive in the snow. next time we get some, i'll get someone to take some vids.

and i did clean it the following day.. the problem with this time of the year is that we'll get snow at least once a week, which means salt on the road.. then it takes anywhere from 3-5 days for the roads to be completely dry so its really hard to keep a car clean for more than 24 hours.
i'll take more pics and some vids next snowfall.

Re: My New Car *PICS*

neons are fun in the snow, trust me, just not like a foot, but a couple of inches, it's awsome, no traction, go to an empty parking lot and just drive like an idiot.
as for the snow idk it doesnt seem like i'm gonna get anything this yr. o wait it is now
i know wat your talking about with trying to keep a car clean in the winter, it's hard as hell

Re: My New Car *PICS*

drive rwd or awd in the snow once and you'll look down on fwd. if you don't then there's something wrong with you. nothin's better than sending your ass end out with spinning rear tires.. none of this ebrake shit.

Re: My New Car *PICS*

actually i read somewhere that A4s can't run on atmospheric bovs.. apparently it has something to do with the car running rich.. there are kits for sale that can make an atmospheric bov work but i'm not in the mood to spend the money. not to mention, bovs are the next ricer fad.

Thats with every BOV setup that doesnt use the MAFS after the BOV or is recurculated. It runs rich because the MAF senses air going in the intake manifold even though its going into the atmosphere via the BOV. I think you understand this though, so sorry for saying stuff you probably knew. You could do a Greddy type S and recurulate it back to the intake. Im running a 1G BOV recurulated and a Turbo XS into the atmosphere (made a 1G to T-XS adapter)

Re: My New Car *PICS*

i guess bov's are ricer.........they serve a purpose. So bov's in my book are not ricer lol. A BOV with neon lights would be ricer.

Sure there is the "act" of rice just by reving hard everywhere you go like gas stations etc. But thats the person making the ricer noise. Drive normal and you wont be looked down upon.

Re: My New Car *PICS*

BOV's aren't ricer unless you are lacking a turbo/blower (or if your BOV is a speaker that makes the POP sound).

Re: My New Car *PICS*

i'm NOT putting an upgraded bov on my stock 1.8T. if i upgrade my turbo/intercooler and obviously boost, then there will be a need for one but as of now, its staying as quiet as it is.
