Re: AFMOTY06 Entries

I absolutely agree with the comments before me, it's very very hard to choose the three best, all the models are superb in their own way, and what a diversity, it's amazing!

Good luck to all!

Hmm - can't say I happy with my photo. The picture seems to have lost a lot of resolution on the upload, makes it look out of focus! Everyone elses, except Yelo's, looks fine! What gives? It's a conspiracy!!!

I noticed I lost alot of detail if I tried to upload a file that is too large to photobucket...not sure why. I found that resizing my original to smaller than the 640X480 requirement in (of all things) paintbrush and then uploaded it, it looked fine. I am guessing those who are having their pictures hosted by photobucket are resizing them in another application before uploading them to photobucket. If you have trouble with this, I would be willing to help if you can send me the original.

Re: AFMOTY06 Entries

Wow
So many great builds in such a variety of models will not make the choice easy...

Well, I have a question, probably stupid but...

Shall we judge the model as seen on the pic or for what it is ?

I mean, I don't know all the models shown and of course didn't follow all of the builds, and the ones I already know could naturely be my best ones (especially according to work done on it if I consider it), but some others I don't know have a really good looking on the pic and impress me as much that they would deserve my vote, too, even if i don't know anything of them...

clearer again:
Do we have to judge preferably what we see or what we know about the models ?

what about you, guys ?

that was my dumb question of the day.

Ok, Ok, I go... >>> [out]

Phil

"Do we have to judge preferably what we see or what we know about the models ?"

Interesting point Rallymaster makes. As if the entries weren't already difficult enough to pick just 3, I find myself trying to stay subjective and not be influenced by what I know of some of these fine models. It's tricky work for sure. I asked the wife to look at all the entries, who knows nothing about them and she couldnt pick out the best and just said, "good luck". These models are so close it's going to be a tough one for sure to pick my favourates.
