I heard that the Skyline GTR 34 performance can be improved by remapped fuelling and ignition timing and reprogrammed standard ECU. Since the standard boost is 0.95 I heard it also can be boosted to 1.15 bar but can this be done thru the electronic display on the dash or would you have to take it to a performance shop for them to do it. I read it in a Torque magazine and it says that the horsepower will be up from 280 to 410. Sound too good to be true, can someone confrim this.
I am looking into buying one in Malaysia after this Christmas. It will cost me 80k Us dollars for a 2000 model with 15,000 kilometers. Was gonna get a Evolution 7 but after seeing the GTR at the dealer I changed my mind

There is NO difference between M-Spec, V-Spec II, or GTR drivetrain with the LONE exception of Attessa-ETS PRO in the first two. Everything else in the engine is exactly the same. The M-Spec and V-Spec II are SLOWER on the straightaways than the Base GTR. The M-Spec is slower than the V-Spec on both straightaways and turns as it's almost 80 lbs heavier. That eighty pounds is in these things (are you all listening?)...

Heated Seats
Full Leather interior (including the seats)
The seats are handstitched (the primary reason for only 50 being produced a month.
They offer two tone body paint
Interior color scheme is different
The suspension is designed for faster damping of road bumps.

That should clear it up for everyone......
