Re: Difference between Camaro's

Track is always a better idea but sometimes when the prospect of ripping up some street pavement presents itself. It is very difficult to not let your poor decision making skills take over for a little bit.

I'm inocent, I swear I am ... he was going slow, I went out to pass him, he rolled into it, I rolled into it, next thing I know I'm doing 120 mph ... and looking at him thru the rear view mirror! my friend that was riding with me was like WTF was that, I replied win #1 for the T/A ... sometimes you just gotta play even if you have no intention of playing!

Re: Difference between Camaro's

The 4th gen RS's all had v6's. I do not know if there was one in 99 or not. I think there was.

Re: Difference between Camaro's

I know 97 was the last year for the 'RS' package from GM, but why does my '98 owners manual specifically refer to the 'RS' car?

wrong . RS was released again in 2000, built by SLP. it had the 3.8 v6 but with the Z28's exhaust system which they say added 5hp. also had stripes, RS badges, and a blacked out bowtie grill insert. optional were ss style 16x8 rims and larger front and rear swaybars off the LS1 cars.

Re: Difference between Camaro's

I saw one a few days ago. They're pretty rare.

'97 was the last year from GM however.

haha just messin with yea rally. not 100% sure but i think the 2000-2002 RS was a GM option, but like the SS, it was built at SLP.

Re: Difference between Camaro's

Ok, another question. What companies offer a twin turbo setup for a 1998 Camaro Z28 LS1?
