student, and part time at a local shop called "Maximum Velocity Motorsports" no web page yet. we specialise in Mitsubishi and Nissan. we do everything from oil change to motor swaps, auto to manual tranny swap, custom builds, lights, fwd to awd conversion, turbo set-ups, all the good stuff. actually, just the other day, here is what i came to work to...

evo with a blown transfer case, and a cobra wanting a new aluminum block. (also did a 2.3L Blower on the cobra)

I love my Job!!

I work all day every day. 11-3 at Jim N Nick's Bar-B-Q. I'm a server's assistant/bus boy.
4-11 I work at Furlong's keys, gifts, and engraving. Position...pretty obvious. It's independently owned and we're fucking swamped during Christmas doing engraving. We change watch batteries and shit, too. I'm moving to Tennessee January 3rd and starting at Valvoline Oil Change Center. Woot

Shit... I know this thread is old (but mine), but I have some relevant info, and I didn't wanna start another...

my mom's fiance is starting a shop... he went to a meeting today in which he's picking out the tools for the shop...

He is supposed to give me a job there... and wanted to know what I thought a/b the set of tools...

I was like holy shit...

I work at a place called TransEd. I am a Quality Assurance Inspector (QA)
We build NYC subway trains, metro north, minniapolis trains. for the ones that are out in minniapolis we built the ones that run from mall of america that go all the way downtown, I also qa'ed them. I was out there last year and showed them how to do service work on them.
