OK, ya, ya, they've been making race cars out of carbon fiber for years now, as in CART and INDYCAR, this is no surprise (yawn). I think the original question was is there a street car made entirely of carbon fiber. Anyway, so what if some fiberglass company put one layer of carbon over a fiberglass car, that doesn't make it true carbon fiber. I could go lay up a layer over my Civic right now and call it carbon fiber. True advanced composite construction is so much more complicated than these fly by night 'fiberglass-turned-carbon-fiber-because-it's-popular-now' businesses. It entails core material (usually honeycomb), pre-preg material, compression molding, etc. So the true question is, Has anyone made a true advanced composite car? Ya, Ferarri, and I hear the newer Vipers are mostly, if not all, CF. Just throwing my opinion into the fray.
