Sleepers are cool

Quote:
ZoomZoommx-5,you said g20s are slow, are you aware of how fast a us spec g20 with an sr20det engine is capable of?that engine is a direct bolt in and can easily do 12 seconds in street trim, that is one of my favorite cars just because of the sr20
I have no clue what an sr20det engine is, but anything that turns a stone into a rocket is cool with me

Sleepers are always the coolest.

In Nissan circles, the SR-block engines are considered second only to the RB-block (the Skyline engine) in terms of tolerance for hard tuning, including the ability to handle high boost levels. :sun:

The are similar but not quite.
Mine is the P11 model that was raced in the BTCC and won

The P10 is the earlier model that im building.
You cant get a P11 kit anywhere yet.

They are quite different actually. One of these is lighter and doesn't have a metal bar for a rear axle (guess which one! :finger: )

And mine is the earlier P10 model that also took part in BTCC but hasn't won the championship.

Anyway, here's the Nissan Primera BTCC story http://freespace.virgin.net/tjl.theg...sanhistory.htm

Edit: Warren, are you aware that there are (were?) Old Spice BTCC decals available for this kit? Now as soon as Wong restocks with Primera kits (if at all), I will make this version together with both Tamiya variants.

Yes the old spice btcc primera decals are still available from
MRM INTERNATIONAL and they cost £6.95 (plus p+p), though why anyone would want to make a primera is beyond me!!!!
