I just noticed something, and i dont think its a good thnig....since i have hard ic pipes, its made to fit the stock 2g tb....what do i do? what if I buy a stock 1g tb elbow on ebay, cut the flanges off both of the pipes (1g tb elbow and my hard pipe) and weld the 1g tb flange back on to my pipe?

1g elbow's are junk!! to small. Your 2g elbow will bolt up just fine to a 1g TB
Just make sure you do not buy a 90 TB, it is different.

I also did this swap(not too long ago when I had my gst). It's not too bad but does require thinking out of the box some. The only maching was when I sent the head out to be polished and etc. Timing was the fun part; getting everything to run right. Don't forget to switch the firing order to.(I forgot what to what, I left the paper that said which with the car when I sold it). Good luck with the swap though.
