i have a similar problem, i added people with non-live msn and they don't work on msn live. i'm going to delete them from my other one and re-add them using live and see if that works.

i would but i think it would mess it up even more, i've rearranged all my contacts and whatnot so it'd be a big mess to do it again. ill try to fix it from the computer lab at school (the place where i added those ppl)

my windows messenger always kicks me off...it blows. Yahoo > AIM and WLM. Yahoo is able to talk with both yahoo clients and msn clients, plus no disconnection problems and i've never had problems with my contacts on it
