Re: Increases MPG and Performance?

What is the difference between those intake kits that say short pipe verse those that don't?
Thanks

Re: Increases MPG and Performance?

performance wise...short intake pipes will just suck in better and cleaner air other than the stock air box. the longer intake pipe that extends below the stock air box will suck in "colder" air compared to the short intake pipe that is surrounded by the heat in the engine...something like that....

So which is better, short or long?
I am interested mostly to try to improve my MPG verse HP.
My cars performance is acceptable as it is before changing anything.

Thanks

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-96...QQcmdZViewItem

Which one of these would be considered a long one, or would there be a better one out there for the money?
The second one says that it does not require modification.
In an earlier reply someone said that they had to use a dremel.
I would prefer not to modify if possible
Thanks
