I always go out on Wednesday nights for $1 drafts...so yeah, the usual. What I can't stand is half my drinking buddies are bailing out on the usual hangout and going downtown to blow 4x as much money chasing the supposed 'influx' of girls tonight. Idiots.

I dunno, something about this night always annoys me every year, it's kinda like highschool graduation night or something. Where everybody who didn't do a damn thing all year suddenly decides to get wasted just because of the date or something. That and the fact that you have to drive 10x as defensively because of the drunken idiots trying to drive home wasted. /end rant

All day our radio and tv stations have been making the point that this is the biggest night of the year for DWI arrests and that the local ploice agencies will be out with roadblocks and such checking for drunk drivers. The one thing from their reports that I didn't understand was the fact that today is supposed to be the biggest day of the year for going out and partying, and the second biggest day of the year right behind the day before Thanksgiving is the Fourth of July. Go figure... I thought it would be New Year's Eve. I know more people and hear of more party/celebration promotions for New Year's Eve than I do the 4th of July.

I guess because the majority of the drinking on new years is done at night. 4th of July means BBQ which means drinking beer all day. So you end up being completely lit before 7pm... at least I know I do

I'm off work, thank god for 4 days weekends. (and a free turkey from my company heh)

Can't go out drinking though, I drive trucks for a living and one DUI could mean my CDL license and my job. Have to get blitzed at home.

yeah there was a roadblock before the bar that is like 2 miles away! luckily i have friends that warned me, so i took the back root! and im sure you guys know that everyone is home for the holidays from college, etc... and us working people get thursday off(usually) which leads to everyone lookin to party! i had a blast, had like 3 different girls message me on myspace. one girl said she wanted to talk to me, but the girl i was with(karoline) was pretty intimidating!lol then she wanted to hook up. what is it about girls wanting guys with girls? its like a game to them, the more unavailable u are, the more they want u??

yeah they're weird. i know this girl who usually doesn't do more than your average flirting and whatnot, but she really wanted this one guy (he's gay so that explains it) like she was giving him lapdances, shoving her chest in his face, all kinds of things. although it could just be that he was gay so she felt more comfortable and was just joking around.
