The guy kinda says, "I just let the numbers do the talking...". He has a point: tell people you drive an escort, and they'll think of something completely different to what he's done to it. I wouldn't personally ever spend that dough on an escort, but then again, I'm sure lots of other folks think that we're all retarded for dumping so much into our DSMs. But take the wing off, and you have a decent car.

If you take that wing off, yeah you have an escort, but you still have a 300+hp escort. And you definately don't see that much. Strange how Ford and their POS's manage to have three of the most reliable cars according to Consumer Reports.

 Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order. The Purple People Eater will ride again... January 2011 can't come soon enough.
