It was pretty easy to do the hood openings, took me about 30 minutes to draw them, then to cut them out and sand the openings. I did it without a Dremel.

That's looking good so far..
a few things you need to do would be to clean up the edges on the hood vents, and sand the edges thinner to get a scale look. Right now the sheetmetal on that bonnet would be about an inch thick in real life.
