Re: Another new srt owner

Ok, I just ordered solid mounts (energy suspension) chrome injector cover and a "SRT-4" third brake light cover(the rice in me) and a 13 antenna because the huge stocker pisses me off. I already have an aem uego wideband and t bolt clamps so I think next I'm going to get plug wires and plugs and then throw some royal purple in and then get an intake and then I'll start saving for the bigger bolt ons like bigger IC and wategate and such. Sound like a good plan?

Sounds good, get some ngk iridiums and gap them low, 32-36 if you are planning on making any good numbers. Also, I'm selling my cca intercooler if you are interested.

I've just decided to go with a different unit, I was looking to get $150 plus shipping. It's 24x10x3.5.

Yes. I aslo forgot to mention. Using upgraded sway bars, makes a night-and-day difference on the skittle. The handling goes from say 25% good to somewhere in the neighborhood of 75%(if I was to make up my own numbers).

Re: Another new srt owner

Does that intercooler require the removal of the bumper core support? Also Is it a bitch to get warenty work done on a moded car even if more if not all mods are mopar?

Yes it requires the removal of the bumper support. 90% of fmic's require it to be removed except for the small percentage of direct fit fmic's. Warrenty work just depends on where you go. Mopar doesn't mean anything to them. Usually, if it's something minor like tps, you can hadle it yourself but when it comes to something major, you would want to put your car back to stock(or stock looking ).

Re: Another new srt owner

I was looking at my ecu today and noticed that there were 4 places for connectors to be plugged in but only 3 connectors. is that just the way the come? Aslo I found the harness for the turbo toys wires and all the wires and spliced into the ecu harnesses except one 2 wire harness that has a red and black wire going to it, that is just hanging out. Anyone know what that is for? I can take a picture if needed

Yeah, that's normal. There are only three plug-in's for the ecu. I'm not too sure about the splicing for s2. Hmmmm.....Theoretically, there shouldn't be any extra wires, especially with a mopar kit. I'll start researching it and see what I can find.

Re: Another new srt owner

I stay away from platinum plugs for the most part. Also do us all a favor and try and refrain from using "N" instead of and, and "r" instead of are, and ect. I'm going with Iridiums myself
