Sylvania silverstars problem?

It's a 1998. I would assume it'll work for you as well. IGNORE the chiltons if you have one, mine told me bascially to strip both sides of the engine bay! lol

ya i have a haynes, well had. it was in the blazer when is sank, and i never went out to get a replacement. and does anyone know a good way to get water out of a headlight, im wondering if i never just removed all of it when i attempted to clean it.

Just watch yourself , sometimes the grass realy isn't greener on the other side. What I mean to say is that silverstars are great! I have had the same set in my Blazer for 2 yrs. But they do provide less actual driving light.

Regular bulbs do shine better and provide better ambient light. Silverstars are way brighter! No challenge there. But they have severe limitations.

Cost! For one thing. Bright white light ,Great, But I bet everyone owns at least one led flashlight, and one incandesent flashlight .

Try this , find somewhere dark and shine your led on an object, now shine your incandesent flashlight on the same object, now be honest, which one looks better? Which one shines farther? Now turn the flashlights around and shine them momentarily in your eyes, the led will blind you! but does not shine as far as the incandesents. Silverstars use a whole different light spectrum than the halogen bulbs. Amazing what just using a different type of gas will do.

Regular bulbs are a little better, But you can't beat the look of silverstars on your Blazer!! Just make sure that you align them when you put them in.
