Yeah, I was really into being a pilot for a while. I think that some can completely autopilot themselves, if not then its not far away. ~6-7 years ago when I was into that the pilot I talked to said that his cargo plane could land itself IIRC. I dont know, I dont think many of the terrorists were all that big and knife or not, they are severely out numbered. I dont think it would be hard at all to alteast foil their plan but truth be told, I bet if a plane gets taken over you are dead whether its going into a building or the ground from a last ditch effort from a terrorist.

yeah they got that new lexus that supposidly parks itself, i dont know if thats true or if thats just some advertising thing, but im sure they could make a plane pilots itself. I dont know about landing, but keeping the plane in the air and stable and everything shouldnt be a problem.

Well planes can't land themselves. But they can almost land themselves.

They can vector themselves into a landing approach. But you still actually have to control the landing of the aircraft.

yeah, i know about autopilot, but i was kinda trying to make a point that someone could guide a person through the steps to turn on autopilot. it doesnt have to be an actual person to fly the plane

Thats been around for a long time. BMW has had that for a couple years now, not really a new thing and from what I've hear it works great
