Well, even if you only loose 15%, when you make 600 hp, that's still 90 hp, lol. Got more to lose.

Just like with money. The more you make, the more they take!

I think that is such a meaningless stat. Just my opinion though.

Re: Back on the dyno today

Original vid is down.

I put this one together.
Has a progression of the exhaust set-ups I have used since getting the swap done.
All on the dyno as well.

Re: Back on the dyno today

i was wondering, do those mufflers really make a v8 sound like a buzzing bee? i diddnt think it made that much of a difference, but maybe it does. as long is its a straight through muffler, it should still sound liuke a v8 right?

Re: Back on the dyno today

If he had a V-8 it'd sound like a V-8. But Lous has a 3-cylinder from a Geo Metro..duh!

Re: Back on the dyno today

Wait...it isn't a Metro motor.

It came out of a Toyolla Prius.

Re: Back on the dyno today

That is all in the cam. I could get a different grind and find a ton of torque but lose some of the HP.
Also some of the reason I went with a square motor. It was up to the cam and not the motor itself...if that makes sense.

I love the powerband. Anything above 4200 is evil....but it still kicks up back from 2300 and up.

Sorry...scanner is down so I had to snap a pic of the graphs. This is before and after the cutouts. Roughly two months separate the pulls.
Computer also didn't have much time to learn the cutouts...maybe 20 miles. Normally the PCM likes 80 miles to adjust for minor things like that. It picked up 1-2 RWHP each pull last week.

it was since i wasn't going to see a computer for about 3 days. but now its not anymore. wasn't too far from rice(er)'s area. UW-Stout college visit. took the sentra. coulda raced rice(er), but no way on a guarentee on that. then it ruined my idea by snowing thursday night, so i decided i wouldnt race in the snow, or see if rice(er) was up to it.
