a tune is NEVER wasted on a car unless its a dyno tune when stock, hit up Evolution Performance they are on teh hompage of SCTFlash.com (the add about the 10sec GT500) they can probably give you a good tune w/ intake and DR's you'd be 12's or DAMN close.

I'd say gears and DR's would get you into the 12's as well. My MT DR's do pretty decent on the street, no track time due to lack of a roll cage though.
