what are you basing this comment on? (the new 6cyl motors being junk)

i cannot imagine the mpg being that drastic between the 8 and 6 that it really justifies not buying one simply because of a few bucks every week. however, i do not know the numbers exactly or what your driving style is. if you prefer the 05 look go for it. the 05 redesign is a love it or hate it kind of thing, you can see here a lot of people will say go for the 99-04 just because they don't like the look of the new ones. but it is for you not them to drive.

Re: 05 Mustang;to buy or not to buy?

I think I like the v6 because it IS a cheaper car.I am not into the big motor thing as I dont know anything about motors. But I do like the look of the 05 and up.I must admit that the older ones are nice, too.I'm looking for the low miles and something a little sporty to vamp up my MOM image. Also,my hubby just bought a Titan and that is freaking me out a little.....so,I'm just looking at mustangs cause I think they look great and have a good reputation. It may be months before I get one.I am a thinker / researcher, amybe to the extreme. Thanks for all the info anf the advice!
