you could probably beat him all engine in a civic if he just has a stock turbo laser

Oh, i see the confusion now, sorry. The 90 eclipse rs was the low model. The laser came in 3 versions of RS, 2 rs (one 8 valve sohc, one 16 valve dohc) both non-turbo. The third being the RS Turbo.

its all good, when i 1st set out to buy a car i almost had a 90 eclipse with the dohc 16 vavle engine swapped into it, so i geuss it was the base model eclipse, the guy had a candy apple paint job and painted interrior and everything the only thing wrong was needed new back brakes so the guy said he would take off 400 on the price so i was like fuk it but his dumb ass wife sold it the next morning when he was at work

How about RWD fourth gen? I saw one out at the track one night. He rolled up to do his burnout and put his front wheels out side the water. Everybody was like what the fuck, then his rear wheels started smoking. It was very sick.

What about wheelie bars on a FWD Civic/CRX? Yhat would keep the front tires to the pavement, and avoid some of the weight transfer issues our FWD cars deal with, and if you have enough power, you might be able to catch a DSM.
Those silly AWD DSM cars are weird IMO, they squat and look funny on take-off....but whoever thought about turbo and AWD made 'em pretty quick (relatively speaking of course)
