Re: CBR1100 XX Superblackbird

What's in the instructions? How about Light gun metal (Tamiya TS-42) Don't have the can myself but from the color chart it looks something like that.

Re: CBR1100 XX Superblackbird

Gun metal and gold?? Interesting. I'd try and get hold of the MS paint.

Re: CBR1100 XX Superblackbird

I have test mixed the 3 colors, and actually, Gunmetal - Gold 10 to 1 looks excellent.

However, Gloss Red - Silver or Gloss Black - Silver 10 to 1 look nice too.

Choices choices.

Re: CBR1100 XX Superblackbird

Both those suggested colour combinations would look good on this bike!

Re: CBR1100 XX Superblackbird

Looks very nice... this was one of the first bikes I built... yours look better though!

The MS paints are no longer produced and hard to find, especially MS-5.

Why not send a PM instead. I don't find it suitable to push your private thoughts on another person over a public forum.

Re: CBR1100 XX Superblackbird

Small Update;
The paint ......
I mixed it myself by acrylics from Vallejo and Artist Acrylic colors.It doesn`t match with the real ,but it`s my Color Coice.

The rearend was painted with Alclad polished Aluminium.
