Don't fall for the guilt trip. I am amazed at how anyone can get where ever they want to go, but once there are somehow stranded. I eventually told one girl (34 yrs old, but acted like 15) that she was only a blow job away from where ever she wanted to go, so don't call me!

sounds like things went from eh to worse for her. i say leave her since her life is a mess now and you can't really even afford to keep buying all that gas. if she doesn't know the public transit system and thats her only way of getting to interviews and a job, i say she should learn.fast. especially if she's 26, time to grow up and be a little more responsible instead of just mooch off people for rides and nicer places to sleep. you can do it, don't be any girl's bitch! many girls, when they find out that they can get stuff out of guys, will stick around just to keep getting those benefits so be wary of that.

I guess I should update this. Since her stranded incident, she decided it was high time she learn to use the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) and today she called me sounding extremely proud of herself that she was on the train and had taken the bus earlier. Of course in principle I could care less that she's on the train, big fat hairy deal... I've been doing it since I was 13. But of course I feigned some interest so reinforce the positive step toward city-life independence she took.

The next trick is getting her to take the bus/train to and from here. Maybe one day I'll just pull up to the train station and wait for her to get out.
