Ugh. Thats what my dad wants. Now that all the kids are out of the house and he's an old man, he needs to revive his youth. I try to tell him that the V6 auto is the granny version and it'll make him look like a pussy but he won't listen Maybe I can convince him to build an AC cobra replica with me as a "father-son project"

a V6 auto should never have been made....thats just buying it for the "look." Has your dad drove a v6 auto? it won't revive his youth at all...those things are too damn slow. And that is coming from a civic driver lol....

Ranger_X, thanks for the engine info! I actually cut out the rear seat if you look at the first couple of pics I posted, also I drilled a hole on the passenger window seen on the first pic to, correct me if I'm wrong, cool down the LSD.

No sports cars should be made with AT

I don't think any sports car, or exotic should be made with an automatic tranny. When I look for ferrari models on ebay, I search for "ferrari model" and always get a couple of auctions that are for real cars. I just have to look at them, ferraris ! I see that it is auto and I'm like AHH! But since I will probably never be able to afford one, I figure, who cares, right? But if I could afford it, no way in hell it would be auto. just my 2 pennies.

You mean for the real car? I believe A&A specialties or xenon makes the lower airdam and wing, maybe hood. Cervinis makes a hood, wing and airdam as well. And I also know that you can buy the real hood airdam and wing directly from ford.

Here's another couple of pics to help you make an accurate replica:

Haven't been workin on my car much becasue of school!!!! Well I used diffrent stilts, the ones that come with Aoshimas GT wing set, for a more accurate look.

Here's a couple of pics of my other projects, Toyota AE86

and my Civic, thinking about doing a "street" look

Well that's all for now.

*edit* Thanks for the new pics Ranger_X

Well here's the stock and Cobra R intake plenum. I made it out of scratch using a sheet of plastic.

The on on the Left is the stock Cobra, the one on the Left is the Cobra R

What do you guys think?

Honoturtle: Sweet looking mustang! I'm not a big domestic fan but yours look pretty *HOT* Those side exhaust are going to be fun to build! According to the pictures, the Cobra intake looks just the the one in the pic Ranger_X posted earlier, good job!

emm, AE86 Levin~ What's wrong with those TE-37 wheels? They are so yellowish?!

Thanks for the comments, as for the AE86, the rims came that way, don't worry I plan to paint them white, I was just fitting them on to see how much lower I need to make it. That's just about as low it can go without choppping the coils.

Honoturtle, how do you lower your car? Do you just cut the spring or something? That is the only way I coud think of doing it, but wasn't sure if there was another better way.

Thanks for the comments, clate as for lowering your car, it depends on what company manufactured your model. I have this tecnique that can be used on Tamiya, Fujimi, and Hasegawa depending on the actual car. It worked on all my fujimi cars except the "new" Integra. Well I'll roughly explain and post pics later. You basically place the little tabs that are on the chassie(sp?) (the ones that you connect the chassie to the body, above the actual given position giving your car a lower stance without chopping the springs, if your not satisfied with it, then you can go ahead and chop the springs. One thing, don't force it in. You have to make sure that the interior bay won't jam up your glass. So be very careful!!!
